Jose Lambertini was born in Cuba on October 17, 1952. He studied Plastic Arts since he was 15 years old at the School of Arts in Santiago de Cuba and graduated in 1972 with a degree in sculpture and painting. He also studied ceramic art with professors from Germany.

He has participated in numerous personal and collective exhibits in Cuba as well as Germany, Mexico, Brazil and Canada, winning several awards.
